Following a  recent Council ballot at the October 2009 AGM, Stephen Doyle, Managing Director of Enovation Resources Pte Ltd, has been appointed President of SEAPEX for 2009/2010.

 SEAPEX, the South East Asia Petroleum Exploration Society, is the region's pre-eminent non-profit professional organization focused on assisting its members and related parties in:

 - Enhancing the success in oil and natural gas exploration, development and production.

-  Accessing leading research in geology, geophysics and related earth sciences that      address upstream petroleum activities in Southeast Asia.

-  Gaining insight into technologies for finding, developing and producing hydrocarbons.

-  Improving the awareness of oil and gas industry opportunities and issues in the region.  

 SEAPEX has more than 1300 members comprising industry professionals from Oil & Gas E&P companies, service companies, research & educational organizations, government agencies and financial institutions around the world and is an AAPG affiliated society.

Based in Singapore, SEAPEX holds bi-monthly meetings that consist of social networking and presentations on topics related to the 'upstream" sector of the oil and gas industry. It also  holds technical and farm-out forums as well as organizes exploration conferences every otheryear.

 Commenting on his appointment, Enovation Resources Pte Ltd Managing Director, Stephen Doyle said:
